Welcome to Beverly Hills

Beverly Hills Neighborhood Overview

Beverly Hills has been my home for nearly two decades, and it’s the neighborhood in LA where I truly feel most at home. When people think of Beverly Hills, they often picture 90210, celebrities, mansions, glamour, and excitement. While those elements are certainly part of its allure, there’s so much more beneath the surface.

Despite its reputation for opulence, Beverly Hills carries a small-town, laid-back vibe. On weekends, you’ll find residents in sweatpants or athleisure wear, taking leisurely walks and exchanging friendly greetings. That relaxed, down-to-earth atmosphere fosters a sense of community, which makes a sprawling city like LA feel cozy.

What really makes Beverly Hills feel like home to me is that every time I return here, I exhale. There’s something about driving through the tree-lined streets and pulling up to my place that just feels right. No matter how chaotic LA can be, Beverly Hills is my haven.

In 2016, I had the privilege of participating in the immersive Team Beverly Hills program, where a select group learns about every aspect of the city—from parking enforcement to police ride-alongs, fire truck tours, and even the waterworks system. This experience gave me a deeper appreciation for the city’s commitment to transparency and engagement. Beverly Hills is one of the rare cities where you can reach out directly to the mayor about an issue and actually get a response.

The city also takes great pride in its own police and fire departments, with response times averaging around three seconds. During my ride-along with the police, I had the unique experience of witnessing officers in action, including one who was working to save a life in real-time. Additionally, Beverly Hills operates its own water system, ensuring the reliability of our water supply even if the broader LA system faces challenges.

Beverly Hills is a special community, and I’m proud to call it home.

Beverly Hills Neighborhood Facts

Beverly Hills is not just a place where I feel grounded—it’s one of the most desirable neighborhoods in Los Angeles. As of January 2025, the median home sale price in Beverly Hills is around $3.2 million, reflecting a 2.3% increase from the previous year. The median price per square foot in this area is $1,033, highlighting the premium value of properties here.

The housing market offers a variety of options, from expansive single-family estates to more compact, stylish condominiums. While the exact condo-to-single-family-home ratio isn't readily available, the market caters to diverse preferences, providing something for everyone.

Beverly Hills also boasts excellent educational opportunities. The Beverly Hills Unified School District (BHUSD) serves the area with a strong focus on "Educational Excellence," offering engaging learning experiences and professional development for its educators. BHUSD schools are well-regarded, and the district fosters a rich cultural environment, with events like the Beverly Hills High School Dance Company’s performance at the Wallis Annenberg Center showcasing the talents of local students.

Beverly Hills offers an unparalleled combination of luxury, community engagement, and top-tier education, making it not only a desirable place to live but a place that truly feels like home.
